As the saying goes

第一篇:As the saying goes

       Learn to forgive

As the saying goes, life touches us by its paticular forgiveness and tolerance.Although Martin Luther King, Jr and his Negro companions havr suffered a lot from the whites, they never give up their fight for freedom. In addition, they always try to use non-violence ways to pursuit their liberation, which means that they don’t hate white people, but try to forgive what they have done for the blacks. They struggle for their own legal rights without any intention to hurt white people. Therefore, Negroes are such great and broad-minded people who have the ability to forgive others. This issue reminds me of a personal story. My family used to be very poor when I was in primary school.Just like other girls at that age, I liked toys very much. However, it was obvious that my family couldn't afford to buy it for me.Therefore, I stole one from our local supermarket.Despite the fact that no one found that I had been a thief, I couldn't prevent myself from regretting for what I had done. Two days later, I returned the toy to the supermarket and apologized to the shop assistant, an old lady. She told me that it would never be too late to make up for our mistakes.Since then, I have never stolen anything no matter how much I like it.But for the lady’s kind help, I would have never realized that life is full of love and gratefulness.Maybe, one day, the Negroes will find their life is just as beautiful as the whites, if both of whites and blacks have learned to forgive.260 words
